Choosing your Nile cruise

A Nile cruise is the heart of almost every trip to Egypt. The classic route between Luxor and Aswan takes three nights sailing upstream (southbound) or four nights downstream, with guided visits to Karnak, the Valley of the Kings, Edfu, Kom Ombo and Philae. All our cruises are on a full-board basis on carefully selected ships, and every programme includes the flights, Cairo hotel and pyramids.

For something more intimate, choose a dahabiya — a traditional sailing boat with only a few cabins — or a Lake Nasser cruise to Abu Simbel.
