Egypt Luxury Experience – Special Flight
From€2,400

Cairo, a three-night cruise from Aswan to Luxor and three all-inclusive nights on the beach in Hurghada. Eleven days at a remarkably fair price.
Overview
A trip in three acts. It opens in Cairo with the Pyramids and the Sphinx. Then you fly south to Aswan for a three-night cruise downriver to Luxor, visiting Philae, Kom Ombo, Edfu, the Valley of the Kings and Karnak.
The third act is pure holiday. A road transfer takes you across the desert to Hurghada for three all-inclusive nights on the Red Sea. The coral reefs here are some of the easiest in the world to explore: a snorkel trip to the Giftun Islands is well worth a morning. You then fly back to Cairo for a free day and your flight home.
International flights are on scheduled airlines with a 20 kg bag, and all domestic flights are included.
Highlights
Day by day
Welcome to Cairo. Our team meets you inside the terminal, assists with the visa and baggage, and takes you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours: rest after the flight or take a first walk through a city of more than twenty million people.
The day you have been waiting for. Your guide takes you to the plateau of Giza to see the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure up close, then to the panoramic viewpoint where all three line up against the desert. Finish at the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple of Khafre. Afternoon free.
Optional: entry inside a pyramid (extra ticket) or an afternoon at Saqqara and Memphis.
Morning flight from Cairo to Aswan and embarkation. Visit the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and the island temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Dinner on board.
Optional: early excursion to Abu Simbel.
The ship sails north. Visit the double temple of Kom Ombo, then the Temple of Horus at Edfu, the best preserved in Egypt. Continue through the Esna lock towards Luxor.
A full day in ancient Thebes. In the morning, the West Bank: the Valley of the Kings with three tombs included, the temple of Hatshepsut set against the cliffs and the Colossi of Memnon. In the afternoon, Karnak and its forest of 134 columns, followed by the Temple of Luxor, linked to Karnak by the Avenue of Sphinxes. Last night on board.
After breakfast in Luxor, a road transfer takes you across the Eastern Desert to Hurghada. Check-in at your all-inclusive resort and first swim in the Red Sea.
A day with nothing to do but enjoy the resort, the beach and the water. The reefs off Hurghada are among the most accessible in the world; snorkelling trips to the Giftun Islands or a glass-bottom boat are easy to arrange locally.
