Nile, Red Sea & Cairo – Special Flight
From€1,100

Desert, river and sea in twelve days: Bahariya and the White Desert, a three-night Nile cruise, and three all-inclusive nights in Hurghada.
Overview
Three Egypts in one trip. You start in the Western Desert: a night in the Bahariya Oasis, then a 4x4 through the Black Desert and Crystal Mountain to camp among the chalk formations of the White Desert. Back in Cairo you visit the Pyramids and the Sphinx.
A flight to Aswan begins a three-night cruise down the Nile to Luxor, with Philae, Kom Ombo, Edfu, the Valley of the Kings and Karnak. From Luxor, a road transfer takes you east to Hurghada for three all-inclusive nights on the Red Sea before your flight home.
It is our most varied itinerary and suits travellers who want to see how different Egypt's landscapes can be.
Highlights
Day by day
Welcome to Cairo. Our team meets you inside the terminal, assists with the visa and baggage, and takes you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours: rest after the flight or take a first walk through a city of more than twenty million people.
Leave the city behind on the road west into the Western Desert, about four and a half hours to Bahariya. After lunch, a dip in a natural hot spring among the palm groves. Dinner and night in the oasis.
Switch to 4x4 vehicles with a local Bedouin guide. Cross the Black Desert, dotted with volcanic hills, stop at Crystal Mountain and drive down into the Agabat valley. In the late afternoon you reach the White Desert, where chalk formations shaped like mushrooms and birds turn pink and orange at sunset. Dinner around the fire and a night at camp under the stars.
Wake up early to watch the sun rise over the white rocks; few places in Egypt are this silent. After breakfast at camp, drive back through Bahariya to Cairo. Check-in at your hotel.
The day you have been waiting for. Your guide takes you to the plateau of Giza to see the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure up close, then to the panoramic viewpoint where all three line up against the desert. Finish at the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple of Khafre. Afternoon free.
Optional: entry inside a pyramid (extra ticket) or an afternoon at Saqqara and Memphis.
Morning flight from Cairo to Aswan and embarkation. Visit the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and the island temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Dinner on board.
Optional: early excursion to Abu Simbel.
The ship sails north. Visit the double temple of Kom Ombo, then the Temple of Horus at Edfu, the best preserved in Egypt. Continue through the Esna lock towards Luxor.
A full day in ancient Thebes. In the morning, the West Bank: the Valley of the Kings with three tombs included, the temple of Hatshepsut set against the cliffs and the Colossi of Memnon. In the afternoon, Karnak and its forest of 134 columns, followed by the Temple of Luxor, linked to Karnak by the Avenue of Sphinxes. Last night on board.
After breakfast in Luxor, a road transfer takes you across the Eastern Desert to Hurghada. Check-in at your all-inclusive resort and first swim in the Red Sea.
A day with nothing to do but enjoy the resort, the beach and the water. The reefs off Hurghada are among the most accessible in the world; snorkelling trips to the Giftun Islands or a glass-bottom boat are easy to arrange locally.

Last morning by the sea. Transfer to Hurghada airport for your flight home, connecting in Cairo.

FAQ
Yes. Each part is short but complete, and the order avoids backtracking: west into the desert, south to Aswan, north by river and east to the coast.
In Hurghada. Your return flight connects through Cairo, so you do not need an extra night there.
