What you will see

The Temple of Hathor was built mainly in the Ptolemaic and Roman periods and dedicated to Hathor, goddess of love, music and joy. Its great hypostyle hall is lined with tall columns crowned by faces of the goddess, and its ceilings keep much of their original colour, with astronomical scenes, the sky goddess Nut and the signs of the zodiac.
