Quad Bike at the Giza Pyramids: 2-Hour Desert Ride

This is a 2-hour quad bike ride in the desert by the Giza pyramids, with a private guide and transfers from your hotel in Cairo or Giza. It is an active way to see the pyramids from the sand dunes rather than from the main visitor paths.

What you will see

After a short briefing, you set off on your ATV across the open desert on the edge of the plateau. The route brings you to spots with panoramic views of the pyramids, where you can stop to take photos with the monuments on the horizon. The ride is a change of pace from museums and temples, and the late afternoon light makes the desert especially photogenic.

The quad bike experience at the Giza pyramids runs every day and is available with a guide in English, Spanish or German. Pickup and drop-off at your hotel are included.

Quad biking is not allowed for children under 11. Wear closed shoes and clothes you do not mind getting dusty; sunglasses and a scarf to cover your face help against sand and wind.
