Egyptian Civilization Museum Tour with Citadel and Old Cairo

This Egyptian Civilization Museum tour is a full day in Cairo starting at 8:00 am, built around the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) in Fustat. After the museum you continue to the Citadel and finish among the historic churches of Old Cairo.

What you will see

• National Museum of Egyptian Civilization: a museum that tells the story of Egypt from prehistory to the present day. Its Royal Mummies Hall has displayed the mummies of famous kings and queens since 2021.
• The Citadel: the hilltop fortress founded by Saladin, crowned by the 19th-century Mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha, with views over the city.
• Old Cairo: the Church of Abu Serga, the Church of St Barbara, the Hanging Church and the Ben Ezra Synagogue.
