Pyramids Sound and Light Show: Private Evening Trip

This is a private evening outing to the pyramids sound and light show on the Giza Plateau, with return transport from your hotel in Cairo or Giza. Your guide meets you, takes you to your seats in front of the Sphinx and brings you back once the show ends.

What you will see

As night falls, coloured lights play across the Great Sphinx and the three main pyramids while a recorded narration tells the story of the pharaohs who built them. It is a relaxed way to see the monuments in a completely different mood from a daytime visit, without the midday heat.

Good to know

The trip lasts around 3 hours in total and runs every day. The show is offered in several languages on different nights and times, so tell us your preferred language when you book and we will match the date to the right performance.

Your show ticket, a private guide and transfers in a private air-conditioned van are part of the price. Dinner is not included, so you may want to eat before pickup or plan a late meal in Giza afterwards.

Evenings in the desert can be cool, especially in winter, so bring a light jacket. If you want to combine the pyramids sound and light show with a meal, ask us about the version that adds dinner with a view of the plateau.
