Al Moez Street Night Tour with Cairo Tower and Khan el-Khalili

What you will see

Cairo Tower stands on Gezira Island in Zamalek, and its open-air platform gives one of the widest views of the city and the Nile. From there you head to Islamic Cairo. Khan el-Khalili is a centuries-old market of narrow lanes, lanterns, spice stalls and cafés. Next to it runs Al Moez Street, one of the oldest streets in the city, lined with mosques, madrasas and public fountains from the Fatimid and Mamluk periods. At night the façades are lit and the street has a lively, local feel.

The Al Moez Street night tour runs every day and is available with a guide in English, Spanish or German. Entry fees, a bottle of water, taxes and private transfers are included.

Al Moez Street is mostly pedestrian, so expect a fair amount of walking on stone paving. Shopping in the market is entirely up to you and is not part of the tour price. Women may want a scarf if you would like to step into a mosque.
