Cairo Night Tour: Downtown Walk, Zamalek and a Carriage Ride

This private Cairo night tour spends about 4 hours showing you the city centre once the heat of the day has gone. With a guide and private transfers from your hotel in Cairo or Giza, you combine a horse-drawn carriage ride, a walk through downtown and a drive along the Nile.

What you will see

The evening covers the places where modern Cairo comes together. You pass Tahrir Square, the city’s best-known square, and walk through downtown streets lined with early 20th-century buildings, cafés and bookshops. You then follow the Nile Corniche and cross to Zamalek, the leafy island district, where you see Cairo Tower from the outside. Along the way you enjoy a carriage ride and stop for an ice cream.

The Cairo night tour runs every day, with start times between 6 pm and 10 pm, and is available with a guide in English, Spanish or German. Water, ice cream, taxes and transfers are included.

Cairo Tower is seen from outside only on this tour; if you would like to go up, ask about our evening tour that includes the tower. Part of the evening is on foot, so wear comfortable shoes. Dinner is not part of the tour, but your guide can suggest places to eat afterwards.
